GLENDENNING RACING
The Glendenning race team has been getting the 33 cars back into racing form for the last couple months and it the cars are finally starting to come together just in time for racing season! At this moment, the team has not decided when or where their first race will be, but that will be updated as we near the start of the season. Paul and crew have also made a few improvements throughout the race shop and did a great job of making their workplace more pleasing to the eyes. Here are some pictures of what is going on around the shop currently.
NASCAR Does Another Article on Paul Glendenning!
Paul Schaefer is back to writing articles about the #33 team. This time he wrote an article after Paul met with Gov. Branstad in late January. While on the trip, Paul talked about racing in the great state of Iowa and the benefits associated with it. Check it out by clicking on the link here!
A Night to Remember in Atlantic!
The Glendenning Racing Team had a fun night filled with laughs and memories in Atlantic on January 28. Family, friends, and fans joined together for a celebration of successful year of racing, and one that was especially memorable to the number 33 Late Model team. Between Paul's "Tebowing", Dennis' comedic skills while being under hypnosis, or watching Paul make his speech on stage, the night was filled with fun activities and everyone had a blast. Here are some pictures from the night.
Governor Branstad Honors Paul at State Capitol
As well as being able to go to Charlotte to receive his championship trophy, NASCAR wanted Iowa's Late Model Champion to get a picture with the governor. So Paul made a short trip to Des Moines yesterday and looked pretty sharp standing next to the head of our state!
Work Going on in the Glendenning Motorsports shop!
After many years of hard work and dedication, the Glendenning racing team has finally met their ultimate goal, to win the Season Championship at Corning. In an extremely hard fought race between Paul and then points leader J.C. Wyman, Paul held onto the lead for the last few laps to bring home the victory and the season championship. It took a little luck and a lot of hard work and great driving, but the goal was accomplished! We here at Glendenning racing would like to thank our sponsors Glendenning Motors, Country Blossoms, Mr. Detail, Toad Holler Hunting Estates, and Rumors Bar and Grill as well as all of our supporters throughout the years. We could not have done it without all of you. You really are what makes this car and team work and for that we are all grateful. It has been some fun years and we are looking forward to the ones to come. Let's go get another championship next year!!!
